Due to Tuesday being the July 4th Holiday and the Tangipahoa Parish Landfill being closed Waste Connections, Inc we will not run their Tuesday routes in the City of Hammond next week.  The Tuesday/Friday routes will resume on Friday July 7th.  Monday/Thursday routes will run their normal schedule. Sandbag Distribution

June 20, 2017, City of Hammond, LA – Mayor Panepinto has activated sandbags distribution starting at 10 am.  Sandbags will be available at the 190 Maintenance Facility, located at 18104 Highway 190 East.  Stay tuned to the National Weather Service and local media for updates.

Boil Advisory – Lifted!

The boil advisory issued November 29 on West Church Street is now lifted effective November 30, 2016. The test results came back from the State, and the water is safe to drink and use. The water main was repaired quickly. Thanks for your patience during the repair.
