We are truly at the Crossroad of the South, located at the intersection of Interstate 12 and Interstate 55. The Hammond Northshore Regional Airport has two active runways, one 6500 feet and one 5000 feet, providing services for intermediate-sized aircraft. The Hammond Area Economic and Industrial Development District is in the development stages of the new Hammond Business Park located at the Airport Exit off of Interstate 12. Southeastern Louisiana University is a prominent partner to the city.
