Offices Closed

The City of Hammond’s offices are closed. Only essential personnel should report for duty. Mayor Panepinto urges everyone to stay off of the roads. If the water looks too high on a road, turn around.

LMA Achievement Presentation

Hammond Mayor Mayson Foster and Councilman Mike Williams accept the award from the Louisiana Municipal Association for Outstanding Achievement for 2013.  The city submitted the Hammond Municipal Airport Control Tower for consideration by the independent judges.

Airport Construction

The construction of the first air traffic control tower at the Hammond Northshore Regional Airport continues at a steady pace.
